Support for Veterans

 Support for Veterans

Over this past school semester, I have done a lot of research on veterans and the risk factors they have when they come home from being away so long. Now this is just research, so if any of you out their read this and want to send me some real updated information that you may have feel free to reach out! I would love to collect all the information that I can. Throughout my research I have found that homelessness is one of the leading issues that veterans face after coming home and it is not just our little town that this happens in, multiple states are having an issue with homeless veterans and people are constantly trying to find ways to prevent this. I would really like to come up with more ways to prevent this because if it is not prevented than there are multiple other risks associated with being homeless. Homelessness is a very serious problem, and many veterans end up homeless after coming home and it isn't their fault, most of the time it cannot be helped.

veterans a lot of the time do not have the family or local support they need when they come home from being gone, most of the time the support is lacking in the elderly veterans because a lot of times those veterans do not have much family left and so they are lacking support and that means they are lacking the help they need to get by in life. Everyone needs support in life and without it, it can be very hard to get out of risky situations, so that is why I have listed the below number. The numbers listed below are help lines that can help veterans with their situations, or they have people there just to talk, if need be, because sometimes talking is all someone needs. These support lines and programs though are here to help veterans.
